Birthday Girl!

Happy 2nd Birthday, Lily!!  We had a great celebration with family and friends.  Since Lily loves music so much we had Ms. Holly come do a music class with the kids, which she loved!  We had a cupcake & ice-cream bar and enjoyed playing outside.  She got the Bitty Baby she's been wanting (Olivia Baby), the cozy coupe (Mom wishes she'd gotten one for me and Ian, so I think this has been in the works since Lil was teeny) ;) and a little dollhouse, golf set, and too many cute things to mention from friends.  She loved opening all her presents and saying "What IS it?!" :)  Thanks everyone for making this such a special birthday!

I carried on the orange danish for breakfast Hogan and I both as kids, but she wasn't a fan… yet.  She'll love it one of these years. ;)

23 Months

I went back to look at my journal to see if there was anything specific I should remember to include in my post, and I hardly wrote anything this month… Not to say it wasn't full of fun times and funny Lily quotes… maybe it means I have my hands full with an almost 2 year old am and getting more pregnant and don't have the energy to write things down at the end of the day. ;)  One biggie -- Lil got her first haircut this month.  Took her to the kid salon in the neighborhood and she did great!  They put on a little movie and gave her snacks… she was so cute in her little haircut gown.  Also- I joined Myers Park United Methodist this month, and so happy Lily likes her little Sunday school there (we found out that Eli, who she's been talking about and we thought might be an imaginary friend -- sorry Lil -- is really a little boy in her class there). :)  And we had a very special birthday to celebrate… pics coming soon!
