April was Spring break, Easter, my birthday and Charley's birthday, plus some fun times like the Jr Theatre Festival, Briggs playing chess in his first tournament and playing ukulele at a Charlotte Folk Society event, and Charley's fifth grade field trip to Carowinds. Oh, and we still have that crazy puppy.

A rough morning for Lily to go to school turned into a sweet morning dropping off Crew at preschool.

Briggs was excited to play Three Little Birds on the ukulele for his class. Then Ms. Person was sweet and taught them to sing along, and they went around to the other first grade classes to perform.

Happy Easter!

It was a great Easter. Easter baskets, beautiful church service, family time, brunch, egg hunt, egg dying, and even a ukulele song. :)

Lily didn't find glasses but Crew did. Haha, he loved these. Little Harry Potter!

I always love watching Lily at observation, but this one was extra special and I savored every minute. It was likely her last observation (at least for now). Such a hard decision to take a break, but as bittersweet as that is, I'm excited for her to get to have time to explore other things she loves. And once a dancer, always a dancer! xoxo
