Newborn Crew

One last newborn shoot with Katy Cook.  I just love her and her photos.  From wedding to baby #4.  Thank you, Katy, for these wonderful photos of baby Crew and our family of six!  Having a baby has Briggs suddenly seeming so much older, and I feel like these pics capture him as big brother so well (and of course my sweet big sister helpers/little mommies).  Love you, Crew!  

We moved into our house 9 years ago before having any kids, and we'll be moving out with four.  What a wonderful, special place this home has been and I'm so glad we brought ALL our babies home here!

  

January 2020

Happy New Year!  The first month of 2020 was full of baby snuggles, long nights, and coffee-filled mornings.  Basically, we're just getting settled into our new normal. And we're having fun watching things get started at the new house (a dirt-filled lot has never been so exciting).

Happy 1 month to Crew!  He's an easy, sweet baby, and I'm thankful that nursing is going well.  He's up to 9 lbs 9 oz (41st %tile) and 20.8" (16th %tile).

B is 18 months and seems so much older all of a sudden.  He's repeating everything and putting words together.  He'll go over to Crew to kiss him, hold baby toys up for him to look at, and so far seems content being a big brother.  Soon enough it will be as though baby "Du", as he calls him, has always been here.  Girls are in love and continue to be big helpers with both boys!

I feel like she's taking her big sister duties very seriously here. :)

So while the girls are bunking to help me out (I've taken over C's room with Crew), I think they are loving it.  Not only are they sharing a room... now on the weekends they're sharing a bed. :)

These were the faces they made when they bumped into each other in the hall after putting on matching pajamas.  Then Charley said "It was the only clean thing in my drawer."  Lily -- "Me too!"  Haha!

We always say "Lily and Charley are going to...." and B says "school."

Sweet boy.  Yes he's wild & crazy sometimes, but he'll also kiss a baby and pour me some tea. :)

Her self proclaimed "favorite tree" at school.  It makes her upset that the other kids peel the bark off.

One month checkup.

Hogan was out of town for the Daddy daughter dance this year, so he took the girls to a special dinner and then we surprised them with a dance party when they got back.  So fun!

How you doin?

Love this.  Lily made us all jobs.  My jobs were to feed Crew, rest, and rock Crew.  Daddy had "financial planning stuff", and Lil and Charley had Briggsy duty, dinner and clean up.  Very sweet, even if it didn't quite pan out. 

The girls joined Hogan on a quick SPT trip (Mom hung with me and the boys).

Another budding artist.  He'll say "paper. paper" when he wants to draw. 

B has also learned to blow his nose. :)
