November is one of my favorite months because it's time to get ready for the holidays, but not yet the crazy rush. We had a pretty quiet Thanksgiving -- the kids enjoyed watching the Macy's parade and we hosted lunch for the grandparents. We got our Christmas tree, the kids had fun going to Santa's bag (boys shopped, girls helped) and Lily won her middle school spelling bee!
