Happy New Year, and happy 6 months to Briggs! At his 6 month visit he weighed in at 15 lbs 12 oz (15th %tile) and measured 25.5" (7th %tile). And he seems so big. :) He's sitting up on his own and will get into crawling position and rock back and forth. He's been drooling up a storm and we think is close to cutting a tooth, loves his baby food, still smiles to almost anything (especially "If you're happy and you know it), and of course continues to be loved on incessantly by the girls. Here's to a great 2019!
| Getting her little branch from our tree. |
| Otw to their New Years Day play date at Grandma's. |
| When the tree goes out, the ice cream shop opens up! |
| Charley's turn for Ribbit! |
| Ribbit reunion for Lily (they're at the beach, btw). :) |
| Look who we ran into at the park. :) |
| Art by Charley. Love her happy people. |
| Starting to sit up. |
| Fell asleep on me in her rocking chair. |
| Lil's play dough Rapunzel. :) |
| Love this girl's art! |
| Back to cello (and with Annie this time)! |
| Lily was so excited to have her turn as dragon of the week! |
| I love this... the teacher has her explanation of why each kid is chosen as dragon of the week, and then all the classmates say what makes this friend a good dragon of the week. |
| Had lunch with Lil and she took me back to her room to see some of her art. I loved seeing her New Year's resolution. "My New Year's resolution is to be kind to my sister Charley. To share my polaroid camera with Charley. I'll share my American Girl dolls. Charley is my sister and I will share with Charley. I will share my love." |
| Lily... sporty, flexible, nice, quiet, caring. (Quiet?!) ;) |
| SPT! |
| Such a treat getting to see the pony and horses on Wanda's farm. |
| Solo sleepover at Grandma's! |
| I just won't let Lily take Lambie to school ever... too special. But I told her she could take a picture of Lambie to keep in her backpack so she's kind of always there with her. |
| I almost missed it, but so glad I was feeling up to Lily's field trip. Imaginon for Judy Moody. |
| Giving her dress the twirl test before the Daddy daughter dance! |
| No Daddy, don't go! |
| I feel ya B. Dinner can be exhausting. |
| Short cut for Lil! |
| "Just a trim" for C. :) |
| The girls watched a couple of the Marie Kondo tidying up shows with me and knew I was ready to part with some things that didn't "spark joy." When I suggested this old magna doodle had seen better days, she left me with this. Haha. |
| One day while she was resting, I took a break from the usual Mommy hustle bustle to sit and color this for Charley. Gave it to her after nap and she had the sweetest look on her face... "You made that for me? I love it!" |
| After a couple weeks working on good behavior, she finally earned her Miranda! |
| Love this pic! |
| Emma's Mom MC teaches preschool now, so I'll get an occasional pic from the playground. It was so sweet, C said to me the other day... "It's not fair that Emma sees her Mommy at school every day. I want you to become a teacher." |
| Happy 6 months, B! You're adorable, smart, strong, healthy and happy... let's just get this sleeping through the night thing down and we'll be good to go. :) |
| New view for the new year. :) |
