Our new year is off to a fun start.  It felt like we extended the holidays a bit -- the girls had been asking to go ice skating all season and we finally made it.  Then we got snow!  It was the perfect one day, great sledding snow (which turned into a week off school).  We enjoyed our snow days (a little too much actually -- I may have accidentally missed our first make-up day back and taken the girls to the American Girl cafe instead).   I'd have to say the highlight of the month, though, was getting to share our baby news with everyone.  Happy 2018... here's to a great year!

From snow to Spring in a few days.

American Girl lunch with Willa and Ashlyn.
We've been working with both girls on not calling out at night and we've broken the habit... one week strong and counting.  This was their reward.

The Cinderella Charley really wants to earn.  Grandma told her she would get it for her if she could go three days with "no finger in."  She literally wanted to go to to the mall the next day again just to see it.  (PS- still working on the finger.)
