Fall is in the air! I love October... the kids all had fun getting in the spooky spirit. It was a busy month -- Lily was busy with dance, Nutcracker, and Shrek. And Charley did a Halloween Cabaret with Porch Productions. We had a great trip to Dollywood! The weather got cooler, we got pumpkins at Kings Drive, we had our backyard Halloween movie night (the girls had their own movie night), and the kids had a wonderful night trick-or-treating. Happy Halloween from Donkey Kong, Mario, Elfaba and Glenda!

The girls have been asking for a skeleton for years!

So when you finally get one, you know they'll play some tricks with it...

Dollywood, here we come!

Dollywood was great, and I'm so happy we went during their Harvest Festival. The park was decorated with pumpkins galore -- it was such a fun, Fall vibe.

And FINALLY, I could have lunch with the kids at Dilworth! It took longer than we were used to this year due to the campuses being combined and the school getting a handle on all the lunches.

And I love that Briggs' and Charley's lunches overlap! I had a little time with B, a lot of time with both, and then a little time with Charley. So nice!

And look who I spied on my way out. :)

I just wanted to add this to remember B's text to Grandma... made me smile.

"Briggs' fun box." It was the sweetest thing... he was sitting by the curb hoping someone would come and take something from his donation box. He waved to a sweet lady and she came over (turns out she's a first grade teacher), was super sweet with him -- and made his day when she took something.
