November 2022

From the start of the month, the holidays were in the air.  Lily's a mini-me and said she was ready for Christmas as soon as we got through Halloween.  Lil's weekends have been all about the Nutcracker.  We had Thanksgiving in Southport, then came home for our tree and to welcome in the Christmas season. :)

Excited to bring back tokens!

Hehe.  All trying on new glasses.

Boys trip to SPT.

Happened to be there for the wooden boat show!

Took Lily to dance and realized the Veterans Day parade was about to start downtown.  Sweet,  impromptu morning.

My old Nutcracker tee and dance bag. :)

The story elf!

Lost tooth for C.

Mrs. Claus.

Off to audition for NWSA!

Nervous and excited!

Lily playing cello for the Veterans Day celebration at school.

Great Grandpa!

Haha Charley.

Third grade.

After just a few weeks in swim, Crew got to move up to B's class.

Workday for the girls so they got to come with!

This pic makes me smile.

Movie night with the Olivers.

Mommy Charley afternoon while Lil's at Nutcracker.

Trying to make slime.

Dragon of the week!  Lily was actually dragon of the week the same week, but fifth graders don't really want you to walk them to class and take your pic. ;)

Book fair.

Sometimes I play these relaxing music videos.  This is B being excited about something pretty on it and showing C. :)

First Santa spotting of the year.  This was as close as he wanted to get. ;)

This was a sweet Thanksgiving gift Briggs brought home from preschool.  It was all the ingredients to boil  and have your house fill with the smells of Fall... B wanted me to make it while he was napping and "surprise" him with it when he woke up.

He had two packs.  After we made ours he wanted to take the other one across the street to our neighbors Shelby and Keith. :)

School lunch with Lil and friend Ali.

Duck donuts for our DOTW.

Fifth grade field trip -- WWC!

Loved watching her on the ropes course.  She said it felt way higher than it looked and I believe it!

Mommy on the zip line.

Briggs drew a map for Ben and had fun really putting it in the mail. :)

Our mystery jelly delivery!

Helping me unpack groceries for our church's Thanksgiving food drive.

Made me so happy doing this with them!

Happy Birthday Reese.

Off to Casen's birthday party at Winghaven.

The water pump was his favorite part.

He watered the flowers, ate tons of strawberries, and walked inside the big hollow tree.  He had a great time. :)

Love Charley's balloon!  They learned about the person who started the Macy's parade, made their own balloons, and had a parade around school.

Dancin' in the elevator.  Whoop!  Whoop! ;)

Making "car soup."

SPT for Thanksgiving.  We finally bunked the beds at the beach house.  It was a big change for the girls who have had this room to themselves for years... cozying it up with Christmas decorations.

Macy's.

Reading sweet notes from the girls.

Dancing to Jingle Bells after watching the girls.  So funny... B did his crazy footwork and Crew danced with his bike the whole time. ;)

Thanks Grandma, for the flea market finds... nothing like a tacky Christmas sweater and apron to kick off Christmas play.

Chai tea latte girl.  Her new thing.

Beautiful sunset cruise.

Boat ballet.

Christmas tree time!

Briggs' little tree.

Making ornaments to decorate his little tree.

Another tooth lost for this one.  First front tooth!

Here's to the start of the best time of the year! XO
