October -- Pumpkins, pumpkin patch field trip, movie night and Halloween. The weather rained on our parade a few times (literally), but we made the most of it. We didn't end up really trick-or-treating until November 1 (a story in and of itself), so pics on next month's blog, but it was really fun seeing the whole crew dressed up in their Toy Story costumes (Jessie, Bo Peep and Woody). And Hogan surprised the kids and dressed up like Duke Caboom and came out on the little motorcycle. Their faces were priceless. :)
Happy 15 months, Briggs! He's turning into such a little toddler. Still the sweetest, and such a mess... into everything and learning to tease. He's saying new words all the time now, but favorites are still "o-pee" (open) and "ah-dah" (all done).

| Happy Halloween! We got rained out for the first time ever. We knew the weather was going to postpone trick-or-treating but thought we could make it to just a few houses, so this is them in their not-costumes (saving their real ones for Friday). We made it to Terry & Judy's and one neighbor across the street before the bottom dropped out. We ordered pizza, rented the Lion King, and still ate plenty of candy. |
