Lily had science fair and her Destination Imagination competition, and Charley had her third grade wax museum. We celebrated St. Patrick's Day, Briggs had wacky tacky day and mystery reader, Crew had a birthday party with school friends, and of course we wrapped up the month with Lil's birthday!

| Long story short... I thought the girls had school off this day. Turns out they didn't, but they had been so excited about being mystery readers I let them miss a couple hours so they could still do it. |

| We lasted about ten minutes before Briggs wanted to go home... too loud. All good though. We checked it out, saw some friends, then made it home in time for dinner. ;) |

| Had to remember the Starbucks.... this is arriving at our hotel in Morganton for Lil's DI competition in Valdese the next day (shout out to Mom and Dad for keeping the boys so I could take the girls overnight!). Lily had hoped there would be a Starbucks nearby. We had to laugh because there was one literally next door. |

| The judges were so positive. I felt bad because the team had a prop malfunction the backdrop fell apart, but they went on without missing a beat and did a super job. And they still got credit for their backdrop! |

| Turns out they were kind of guaranteed a win because they were the only group in their age division that chose the fine arts challenge, but a win's a win... they did amazing and what a cool experience competing AND coming home with a trophy for Dilworth! |

| And the coolest of all... one student from their age group got an award for showing creativity and bravery, and Lily won! SO shocked and excited for this unexpected win. |

| Both girls enjoyed the duct tape room. They chose the most complicated craft, the duct tape wallet, and (with a little help) completed them! |

| Meanwhile... the boys had a fun day with Grandma and Grandpa. Light rail and Jeni's ice cream. |
