I love October. In my opinion it's the start of the best time of the year... this one was a doozy, though. Somehow I came down with Covid. Two of the kids got it, two didn't. Hogan was out of town and Mom was with us when we found out, so she stuck it out with us for almost two weeks (sorry you were stuck here, Mom, but I'm so happy you were!). Everyone was/is fine.
We had a really fun Halloween. Lily was a ghost princess and Charley was Mavis from Hotel Transylvania. The boys were buses, or should I say "bo-bi-beep-beeps." Crew calls anything that moves a beep beep. Cars are just beep beeps. Excavators are excavator beep beeps. Dump trucks are dump truck beep beeps (you get it!). He says bo-bi for bus, so buses are bo-bi beep beeps. :)
The girls helped me make the boys' costumes and I think they came out so cute. We trick-or-treated from our house up to our old house and made our old loop, so it was a long night and the kids got more candy than ever to prove it. Here's to the start of the holidays.
And happy 22 months, Crew man. You are a force to be reckoned with. I love hearing you say so many new words, and your inflection is like a big kid. My new fave phrase is "Oh! Yeah!"
