21 Months

Happy New Year!

On a sad note, we lost Grandmama Caskey this month.  As I write it I still can't believe it… but she passed peacefully at Hospice, holding Mom's hand, and I know she is heaven looking down on us and loving all that Lily's getting up to these days. :)  Lil misses her Mot Mot and we talk about her often and send kisses up to heaven for both great-grandmas.

On a brighter note, we are looking forward to a special 2014 and praying for a year of happiness and health for everyone!  As we get ready for baby girl #2, we decided to leave the nursery as-is and decorate a new big-girl room for Lil!  It's looking great and Lil's getting started on the move over… back and forth between her crib and big girl bed.  So crazy (and sweet) to see her in that big bed!

We've been inside a lot during this cold month, hanging out and enjoying all of Lily's Christmas gifts.  I've done a few preschool tours and applied a couple places for the Fall (she cannot be that old!)  And… a happy retirement to Mom!!!
