August 2016

Here's to our last month of Summer!  The girls both continued swim lessons and Lily had Children's Theater Magic Castle camp.  We celebrated Daddy's birthday!  The girls and I went with Grandma and Grandpa to DC to visit Ian & Suzyn, and also to see Annie for the first time in her new home!  The girls had the best time together (Charley too!) and Lil loved her first real sleepover!

"Pwiness Cha-ley!"

And Dr. Lily!
"I want to be a Dr. or an architect when I grow up... "or a Mommy."
When I told her she could be both she said "No.  Being a Mommy is too much work!"

C sporting her Tottenham jersey in honor of Grandpa and Great Grandma. :)

Nothin' cuter than babes in their boots and rain coats.

Been a while since these two got to hang out.  Fun lunch date (for the mommies too)!

The girls love the Lumineers.  They request Sleeping on the Floor and Ophelia. :)

Daddy built a garden!

I don't know where this peace sign thing came from, but it's Lil's new signature move. ;)

Lil being "a worker."  This is after the bug guy came to spray.  Haha.

Love this sweet pic of C looking at the rain!

Getting.  So.  Big.

Magic Castle camp!

Special day trying on dresses with Jill at J. Majors.  I don't know who tried on more... Jill or Lil!

Hehe.  She made herself at home.

Our first attempt at potty training.

Sweet sis moment!

Day dreaming.

In the pool with Grandpa.

Happy Birthday, Daddy!

Benjamin's birthday party.  Lil got to see some good school friends... and play super hero. :)

Trying out "the windy car" before giving it back to Ryno.

C's signature scooter move!  Impressive.

We visited Sadie and Jack at their new house in Huntersville and had fun at the Birkdale splash pad.

DC bound.

Are we there yet?

Reunited!!

This is when I kissed her goodbye and left with Charley.  Since she was with her bestie and sweet Karly, she did great!

All smiles the next morning.

Pit stop at Pullen Park in Raleigh on the way home.  A special visit for Grandma and Grandpa since they brought me and Ian here when we were little.

Charley move.

Back to school haircuts!  Only second cut ever for C.

Bye Summer!  It was nice and all but we are ready for school and pumpkins and cooler weather! :)
