December 2016

December was a FUN month.  Christmas trees, Polar Express, Nutcracker, Christmas cookies... it truly was the most special time of year with the girls at this age.  And I'll blame it on all the fun we were having why I'm so late posting these pics.  Merry Merry. :)

On the way to find the perfect tree.

I tried all morning to get the perfect shot for the Christmas cards, and it was this impromptu
pose outside Brixx that made the cut. :)

Singing her Christmas carols.

Rapunzel!

Highlights!

Hot cocoa by the "fire." :)

Lily decorated her little tree with special ornaments from
Mot Mot & Great Grandma. xo

Happy Birthday, Claire!

It "snowed" at the Christmas symphony concert and Charley tried to catch it on her tongue!

Happy Birthday, Grandpa!

All dressed up for the children's nativity service.
Mary, an angel, and our friend Maddox the sheperd.

Haha.  So Charley.

This pic makes me think of Lily and her "old lady" days. ;)

Family band.

Holidays at the Garden at Daniel Stowe.  It was cold!  BBQ, macaroni, craft beer, pics with Santa,
cake pops and fun carriage ride through the lights.

C's thinking hmmm... is he the real one? :)

Lily handing Santa his letter!

Our wily elf started doing elf magic this month... the girls loved this new little tradition.

Polar Express!  MAGICAL night!

Smores by the fire!

The golden ticket. :)

Cocoa, cocoa, cocoa.  Hot cocoa, cocoa, cocoa.

Getting their tickets checked.

Lily dancing with our server.

And the most magical part... getting off the train at the "real" North Pole where we saw the real Santa!

Our play house is here!!

Playing handbells!

Lil's letter for Santa. xo

Dancing at Nana's.

Lily and Mommy's special sleepover by the tree.
"And we coughed all niiiiight!" :)

Trying to offer the elf a cookie.

Christmas cookies!

The excitement at...

Christmas lights on the tiny house!

Milk...

...and cookies for Santa!

Santa came!

Lily wanted to leave a present for Santa.  So we left him socks to keep him warm.
He left a thank you note. :)

A very merry Christmas morning.

Rapunzel and Flynn's wedding. :)

Wonderful to see Lindsey and Eliza!

Never too cold for the park!

Lots to be thankful for this year but lots to look forward to in the year to come.
Thanks for the memories, 2016!
