August 2019

August was part Summer and part back to school.  We celebrated Daddy's birthday, had a week at SPT with Papa & JJ, did some camps and Carowinds, then got ready for school to start!  Can't believe we sent off a Kindergartener and a second grader!  School is off to a great start and SO thankful the girls have this year together at the Sedgefield Campus.

Happy 13 months to B.  He's running around and into everything (oh, and finally got rid of that 4am bottle!).

Jolly Lollies camp.  This is the girls' lego haunted house they were very proud of.

Loved reading Wonder with Lily.  It is wonderful reading our old story books, but also something so neat about a more adult book that is truly fun to read together.

A quick visit from the Keysers on their way home to Seattle (and cute "baby Dylan" and fam).

Inspired by The Greatest Showman.

Today we shared our baby news with the girls!  It was definitely big news, and a donut celebration was just what we needed.

Toy Story 4!!!

Fave new spot.

Bo Peep... Special surprise!

And Buzz.  Lil's surprise!

Lil's awesome Jessie she drew for Charley.

Special day with Grandma at Discovery Place Kids.

It's a BOY!

Searching for hermit crabs.  In the end they got about 20!

Her fave little crab. :)

Saw a whole school of dolphin!

Found a sand dollar!

Ice cream cheers.

Little Lindsey Stirlings.

Rising Kindergarteners received special "stepping stones" at church.

Happy Birthday, Daddy!

Just another Tuesday.

Mommy's old pointe shoes.

Back to school haircuts.

Fist cut for B.  Not a fan.

But he came around. :)

Big deal right here.

The night before school!

Message balloons!

Happy (stylish) girls on their first day.  Two Dilworth dragons in the house.

Back to ballet as well.  Both girls moved up a level.  Fun seeing C do the dances Lily did last year.  And Lil gets to start character dance this year.

Turned into a toddler overnight.

Ease in days meant that after Monday, C and I had three more home days before her official Friday start (hence, C's pjs at the bus stop.)

So many firsts... First official day in her Kindergarten class.  She really wanted Mrs. Davis who she had for ease in days, and she got her!  It's also who Lily wanted her to get. :)

Charley and Mrs. Davis.

Lily and Mrs. Byrne.

Movie night.

Popovers!  Inspired by the "Just Add Magic" show the girls have been watching.

Summer it's been fun, but school is back in and we're ready for you Fall!
Here's to a happy, healthy school year (for all)!
