July 2018

July was a pretty big month for us. ;)  There was a lot of preparing and waiting, and Briggs joined us July 19!  Knowing Briggs could come anytime, I feel like July flew by and crept at the same time... we stayed close to home a lot and while I sometimes felt bad for not getting the girls out for more Summer adventures, I think playtime at home was equally as fun and maybe the best thing before baby.  

Lil and C have always played well, but they seem to have become even closer buddies this Summer.  They are "best sisters" as they call themselves, and as we settle into life as a family of five, I've never been so thankful they have each other and the relationship they do.  

Fourth of July Pops.  Hot and crowded, but still a fun time and one of our last outings as a family of four. :)

Lily cleaned up upstairs and wanted to surprise me.  But first she tried to trick me with this sign- "Welcome to the dirty house.  It is filled with slime.  Hehe."  Then showed me how neat everything was.  Haha. :)

Back in swim.  Lil opted to be in the younger class so she could be with Charley and Ms. Hilary.
